Robert Arthur hails from Union, South Carolina.  He spent many years on tour playing guitar for various acts including Brad Paisley, Jeff Bates, Melody Crittenden and most recently The Henningsens. 

He signed his first publishing deal in 1994 with EMI Music Publishing, where he spent 5 years.  He built many relationships during his time there that have been an asset throughout his writing career.  He then signed with independent publisher Baccerstick Music in 2007, where he wrote for 8 years. 

Arthur has written songs for Brad Paisley (including one Grammy Nominated song), Chris Young, Trace Adkins, Jeff Bates, Mark Chesnutt, Daryle Singletary, Lisa Brokop, Melody Crittenden, 4 Runner, Matthews, Wright & King,  and Steve Gatlin.  Additionally, Arthur has experienced a lot of success in the Gospel genre including a CCM number 1 with Michelle Tume.  He also writes instrumental pieces and jingles.  Currently, he writes with various artists including Brad Paisley and Chris Young.
